The Toolsquare LinkedIn → HubSpot Linker is an internal tool for Toolsquare staff. On any LinkedIn profile it shows whether that person is already in Toolsquare’s HubSpot CRM and lets you add or update them in one click. This page covers setup and common issues.

Getting started

Once the extension is installed, pin it from Chrome’s puzzle-piece menu (optional).
Click the Toolsquare icon → Sign in with Google → choose your @toolsquare.io account.
Open any LinkedIn profile — the card appears with the HubSpot status and a one-click sync.

Troubleshooting

“Sign-in failed” or the card asks me to sign in

Open the extension popup and click Sign in with Google, using your @toolsquare.io account. If you’ve only just installed it, give it a few minutes to activate and try again. Only Toolsquare Workspace accounts can use the tool.

“Proxy connection: Offline”

The server may be waking from idle. Close and reopen the popup once — it usually reconnects within a few seconds. If it stays offline, contact us below.

A profile isn’t syncing / status looks wrong

Make sure you’re on an individual profile page (a URL like linkedin.com/in/…) and reload the page. HubSpot’s search can take a moment to reflect a brand-new contact.

The extension disappeared

It’s force-installed and managed centrally; if it’s missing after a Chrome update, restart Chrome. Still gone? Contact us.
